About this Event

Don’t just find a job. Secure a career with a "Good Job" guarantee.

The Pathways to Industrial and Construction Careers (PINCC) initiative is hosting an exclusive hiring event dedicated to high-standard security roles within New York City’s industrial and construction sectors.

At PINCC, we define a "Good Job" as one that respects your hard work and provides for your future. Every employer at this event is offering roles that meet at least one of the following criteria:

  1. Union Membership: Direct pathways into organized labor.
  2. Prevailing Wage + Benefits: Competitive pay at NYC prevailing wage standards combined with comprehensive health insurance coverage.

Why Attend?

Traditional security roles often lack stability. The roles offered at this event are designed for long-term success. Through PINCC’s $18.6M federal Good Jobs Challenge grant, we provide the "wrap-around" support to ensure you are ready for day one:

  • Professional Equipment: Assistance with uniforms and work boots.
  • Transportation & Logistics: Help with travel costs and driver’s license education.
  • Financial Wellness: Financial literacy training and background check assistance.
  • Licensing Support: Guidance on security certifications and site-specific safety credentials.

Who Should Attend?

We are looking for motivated New Yorkers ready to step into high-stakes security environments, including construction sites, transportation hubs, and industrial facilities.

  • Experienced Guards: Bring your license and experience to land a union or prevailing wage role.
  • New Entrants: If you recently obtained your Security Guard license, PINCC can help get the job placement you are looking for.

What to Bring
  • Resumes: 10 copies recommended.
  • Photo ID: NYS Driver’s License or Non-Driver ID.
  • Certifications: Bring any existing Security or OSHA cards.

Registration Note

Because we prioritize "Good Jobs," space is limited to ensure quality time with employers. Register today to reserve your entry window.

About PINCC: Funded by the U.S. Economic Development Administration, PINCC is a NYC workforce initiative that connects labor unions, employers, and community organizations to build a stronger, more equitable middle class.
