The timeless masterpiece!
Few plays have stood the test of time quite like this one: Oscar Wilde’s classic THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY needs little introduction. Adapted by Merlin Holland and John O’Connor, this exceptional tale is coming to the stage.
Dorian Gray, young, handsome, and innocent, makes the fateful decision to immortalize his beauty in a portrait of himself. Over the years, he remains untouched by the ravages of time, while the painting ages in his stead. But can this choice really have no consequences?
Brimming with Wilde’s wit and sharp dialogue, the play asks what the true cost of excess and hedonism really is when the consequences are ignored.
THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY will captivate you from the moment you sit down, and then slowly and quietly send a chill down your spine. Hauntingly beautiful – you shouldn’t miss this theatrical gem!
