Penny Dreadfuls is a relaxed, welcoming night for anyone who loves the darker side of storytelling. Bring along something you've written yourself, a favourite passage from a book, a poem, a ghost story, a strange little tale you've discovered, or simply come along and listen.
Expect tales of ghosts, monsters, murder, mystery, the supernatural, the unsettling and the wonderfully weird. You don't need to be a writer or performer to take part, and there's no pressure to read if you'd rather sit back and enjoy the stories.
Whether you're a lifelong lover of gothic literature or simply fancy an evening somewhere between a Victorian parlour, a haunted library and a very questionable séance, come along and share in the dreadful delights.
Tea and Coffee will be available, but feel free to bring your own drinks if you want anything different.
