The Peephop Halloween Horror Marathon is happening once again and we will be entertaining you through out the evening with not one, but three horror movies from three different decades, the 60s, 70s and 80s.18:00:
Spider Baby or, the Maddest Story Ever Told (1967)
In a dilapidated rural mansion, the last generation of the degenerate, inbred Merrye family lives with the inherited curse of a disease that causes them to mentally regress from the age of 10 or so on as they physically develop. The family chauffeur looks out for them and covers up their indiscretions. Trouble comes when greedy distant relatives and their lawyer arrive to dispossess the family of its home.

The Brood (1979)
A disturbed woman is receiving a radical form of psychotherapy at a remote, mysterious institute. Meanwhile, her five-year-old daughter, under the care of her estranged husband, is being terrorized by a group of demonic beings. How these two story lines connect is the shocking and grotesque secret of this bloody tale of monstrous parenthood from David Cronenberg, starring Oliver Reed and Samantha Eggar. With its combination of psychological and body horror, The Brood laid the groundwork for many of the director’s films to come, but it stands on its own as a personal, singularly scary vision.

Society (1989)
17 year-old Billy Whitney feels alienated from his upper-class Beverly Hills family. He hears a tape recording that seems to indicate that his entire family are having secret orgies. People appear dead one moment but are alive the next, while Billy’s girlfriend’s body appears to twist into abnormal positions. His parents insist that Billy is imagining everything and try to commit him to an institution. Billy slowly discovers the truth – that his parents and the people around him belong to a different breed of people, a secret in-bred society who are capable of melding and shifting their bodies.
