The Pause Project is back! Join In Good Company Collective and Lakeshore Gynecology for another evening of important conversations, good food, surrounded by women there to learn and support each other. This time, we will be talking about something that plays a much bigger role in our everyday lives than we might realize: the pelvic floor.
We're bringing together Dr. Nada Lygrisse, Callie Reynolds, DPT, with Ivy Rehab, and Shirley Candelaria, PT with St Mary’s Hospital for an approachable, expert-led conversation exploring pelvic health through every age and stage of life.
From bladder changes and core strength to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, intimacy, pain, exercise and aging, our pelvic health impacts so much of how we feel and function. But how much do we actually understand about it?
We'll talk about what the pelvic floor actually does, how to recognize when something may be off, and what we can do to better support our bodies.
What to Expect:
We're making an evening of it at The Beach House! Enjoy beautiful views of Lake Decatur, hearty appetizers, drinks and time to mingle before settling in for a relaxed, engaging conversation.
We'll kick things off with guided questions before opening the discussion to the room. No formal lectures or medical jargon to navigate - just trusted expertise, real questions and an opportunity to learn more about ourselves and one another.
