The Pause: Creating Calm in a Chaotic World
A Two‑Hour Experience for Women Who Carry a Lot
The Pause is a single, two‑hour gathering designed to help women step out of the noise, urgency, and constant motion of everyday life and experience what it feels like to simply be present. This offering isn’t about escaping chaos - it’s about discovering that calm can be created from within it.The soul of this experience is spaciousness. A gentle slowing. A moment where nothing is asked of you except to arrive, breathe, and reconnect with yourself beneath the expectations, responsibilities, and endless mental lists that follow you through the day.Through intentional pauses, nervous system regulation, guided reflection, somatic awareness, and restorative practices, you’ll explore how steadiness can be cultivated even when life is full. You’ll be invited to soften the internal pressure, listen to your body’s cues, and remember that calm is not something you earn - it’s something you practice.
Who This Experience Supports
The Pause is for the woman whose life is full - of work, caregiving, relationships, decisions, and the invisible labor of keeping everything moving. She is capable, committed, and often the one others rely on. Yet she may find herself moving from one thing to the next without much space to simply be.
She may notice that even when she does have time to rest, her mind doesn’t always know how to follow. She’s curious about slowing down without checking out, creating healthier boundaries with urgency, and learning practical ways to feel grounded when life gets loud. She doesn’t necessarily want a quieter life - she wants to feel steadier within the life she already has. Most of all, she desires permission to pause without guilt and reconnect with herself.
The Transformation
You will leave feeling more spacious, grounded, and connected to yourself - not because life suddenly became less chaotic, but because you discovered that calm is a capacity you can cultivate.
You’ll learn to:
recognize your own signs of overwhelm sooner
understand what helps your nervous system settle
create intentional pauses that support clarity and steadiness
shift from reacting to responding
practice calm in the middle of an ordinary, busy day
Most importantly, you’ll leave with a new relationship to the pause itself: not as wasted time or avoidance, but as an act of care that allows you to return to your life with more presence, choice, and ease.
You may not leave with a quieter world - but you will leave knowing you can create a little more calm within it.
What You’ll Experience
This two‑hour class blends:
gentle nervous system teaching
guided self‑reflection + coaching prompts
somatic and body‑awareness practices
grounding + orienting techniques
breathwork
restorative practices
a closing Yoga Nidra to settle deeply into stillness
This is a soft-landing place - a moment to exhale, recalibrate, and remember yourself.
Your Keeper: Cyndi Allen
Cyndi Allen is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, trauma-informed yoga educator, and certified life coach who brings together mindful movement, nervous-system regulation, and practical coaching to help women feel more grounded, capable, and connected to themselves. With graduate degrees in business and organizational leadership, along with advanced training in life coaching and yoga, Cyndi brings a unique perspective to her work—one that understands both the demands of real life and the importance of creating space to pause, listen, and respond with intention. At Lunar Womb, Cyndi offers a range of experiences, from Strength & Flow, restorative and meditative yoga, Yoga Nidra, somatic and nervous-system-focused practices, and beginner yoga to coaching programs and workshops centered on stress, burnout, perfectionism, intention-setting, balance, and sustainable change. Her teaching is trauma-informed, accessible, and non-performative. Rather than asking students to achieve a particular shape or experience, Cyndi encourages curiosity, choice, and connection with what the body is communicating in the moment. Her classes may include movement, breathwork, meditation, somatic awareness, reflection, and deep rest, with plenty of permission to adapt the practice to the person. Her coaching carries that same philosophy into everyday life. Cyndi helps women explore patterns such as overfunctioning, perfectionism, chronic stress, and feeling disconnected from their own needs, then turn insight into practical, sustainable ways of living and working.Whether she is leading a strong yoga practice, guiding Yoga Nidra, teaching nervous-system regulation, or facilitating a coaching conversation, Cyndi’s intention is the same: to create a space where women can step out of performance, reconnect with themselves, and discover what it feels like to move forward from a place of greater steadiness and self-trust.Her work is grounded in a simple belief: you don’t have to become someone new. Sometimes the most meaningful work is learning how to return to yourself.
