The PARKinson’s Conference – Sunshine Coast 2026 proudly hosted by The Parkinson's Centre, brings together people living with Parkinson’s, carers, healthcare professionals, researchers, community organisations and industry leaders for a full day of learning, discussion and connection.
Join us on Thursday 8th of October at the Maroochy RSL from 8am to 4:30pm to explore the realities of living with Parkinson’s and the evolving approaches to treatment, therapy, technology and support.
Presentations will combine leading professional knowledge with practical information that people living with Parkinson’s and their families can understand and apply.
Whether you are living with Parkinson’s, supporting someone who is, working within healthcare or contributing to research and innovation, the Conference offers an opportunity to learn from respected voices and connect with others who share a commitment to improving Parkinson’s care and quality of life.

The 2026 program will explore a broad range of topics affecting people living with Parkinson’s and those who support them, including:

The final program and presentation times will be released closer to the Conference.

You do not need a clinical or professional background to attend. Presentations will be delivered for a mixed community and professional audience.
The 2026 Conference program will bring together Australian and international speakers across neurology, research, allied health, mental health, technology, carer support and community services.

The Conference will include:

The program is expected to run from approximately 9.00 am until 4.30 pm, with registration opening at 8.30 am.
Presentation times and speakers may change due to availability or circumstances beyond the organisers’ control.

Your ticket provides entry to The PARKinson’s Conference – Sunshine Coast 2026 on Thursday, 8 October 2026.

Tickets for the Parkinson’s Gala Dinner & Industry Awards must be purchased separately. Tickets on this site are purely for The Parkinson's Conference. Please return to the Website for purchase of Gala Dinner tickets.

The $85 subsidised admission is reserved for people living with Parkinson’s and carers attending in that capacity. It is heavily subsidised by The Parkinson’s Centre to help make the conference accessible to the Parkinson’s community.
Healthcare, aged-care, disability, research, government, pharmaceutical, supplier and other industry representatives attending in a professional capacity must select a Professional & Industry ticket.

Each ticket includes:
- Admission to the full Conference program
- Access to presentations and panel discussions
- Access to exhibitor and information displays
- Conference materials provided on the day
- Morning tea / coffee, Lunch, Afternoon tea/coffee
The Parkinson’s Gala Dinner & Industry Awards is a separate event being held on Saturday, 10 October 2026. Gala admission is not included with a Conference ticket.
Photography and recording notice
Photography and video recording may take place during the Conference for event reporting and future promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please advise the registration team when you arrive. We will make reasonable efforts to respect your preference; however, attendees may appear incidentally in wide-angle or crowd images.
Recording presentations or photographing presentation materials is not permitted unless authorised by the organisers and the relevant speaker.
Professional development
Certificates of attendance may be made available upon request after the Conference.
Attendees are responsible for determining whether participation meets the requirements of their professional registration, employer or professional development scheme. The organisers do not guarantee that attendance will qualify for a particular number of professional development hours or points.
