💿THE PARENTAL ADVISORY VOGUE NIGHT💿October 17, 2026 | Alte Feuerwache
On October 17, Mannheim’s ballroom community, Grace The Floor, is bringing Mannheim’s first ever vogue night to @alte_feuerwache_mannheim supported by Kulturamt Mannheim. The day begins with a vogue fem workshop at noon (12:00pm) designed to prepare participants for the evening, before the lights come up for the ball. Doors open at 9:00 PM, and Vogue Night starts at 10:00 PM.

From 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Alte Feuerwache will transform into the stage for a small but exquisite ball. People who have not previously had contact with ballroom culture but attended the workshops earlier in the day are invited to compete against experienced members of the community.
But the night is far from over: after the ball, three DJs will take over the floors, delivering the perfect blend of House, R&B, Hip Hop, and Ballroom Beats for everyone to dance until 5:00 AM.

10's: Getting your 10's allows you to access the battles.
Chop: Getting a chop cuts you from the category.
Roll Call: The opening part of the evening where the "famous" people in the room are introduced by the MC.
Beginner: Everyone who hasn't walked a specific category more than a year.
FF - Female Figure: Fem Queens, Drag Queens, Women.
MF - Male Figure: Butch Queens, Trans Men, Butches (and sometimes straight men).
FQ - Fem Queen: Ballroom lingo for trans women.
BQ - Butch Queen: cisgender man that identifies as homosexual.
OTA: Open To All - no division into gender categories, includes non-binary and straight people (certain categories like Realness still limit the OTA).
