📚☕ **The Painted Trunk Not a Book Club**Our first official gathering is happening!

Our first book is **The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner**, but before anybody starts getting nervous about the words “book club,” here are the rules:
**There really aren’t any.**
Read the book. Don’t read the book. Read 47 pages and get distracted by another book. Bring your copy. Forget it on the kitchen table. Show up with thoughtful literary observations or just come because you like coffee and people who read.
It truly does not matter.
☕ Coffee and beverages will be available for purchase before the meeting.
🍰 A couple of folks are bringing sweet treats to share. You are welcome to bring something too — or don’t. There is absolutely no pressure.
⏰ And 6:00–7:30 is more of a general suggestion than a court order. Come early for a beverage, arrive when you can, and leave when you need to.
This is meant to be **casual, fun and completely pressure-free.**
No homework.
No attendance sheet.
No pop quiz.
No guilt because you didn't finish the book.
Just books, beverages, conversation and whatever rabbit holes we wander down along the way.
