NEXT EXCURSION: Water of Leith from Leith Shore
Last time we headed for Leith we got blown indoors, so we'll try again and hope for better luck! This time we'll meet at a lovely coffee shop, and wander along the edge of the Water of Leith, and enjoy this natural artery in the middle of the city!
Enjoy relaxed chat with like-minded freelancers and small business folks. We'll be walking for around 1.5 hours, so you'll want comfy footwear, and be prepared for all weathers!

🚌 Bus options, bike parking, some paid on street parking, and parking at local supermarketd
🥾 Easy route - this route is totally flat and paved
💚 This event's walk leaders will be Damien and Lezanne
🐾 Dogs on a lead are welcome!
We'll be in touch about car sharing before the event on our community WhatsApp group, and will do our best to coordinate, although we cannot guarantee that we will be able to line this up.

Will I be able to do the walk?
We aim to ensure the walks are as accessible as possible and will do our best to indicate where they might be more challenging. If you have any questions at all about the route you can contact Katie who will be happy to help.
🥾: Easy route - flat paths, suitable for all who can walk 5km comfortably
🥾🥾: Medium route: paths with some hills or uneven surfaces, still suitable to most, but not if you have any underlying injury or condition.
🥾🥾🥾: Hard route: challenging route that will be suitable for those who are confident walkers.

We do our very best to create safe and enjoyable outdoor community events, however, The Outsiders do not take responsibility for accidents or injuries. By attending, participants acknowledge that they do so at their own risk. While we make every effort to select safe and accessible routes, it is each participant’s responsibility to ensure they are physically able to take part, dress appropriately for Scotland’s changeable weather, come with their own food and drinks, and wear suitable footwear.
