Did you know that on November 8th 2006 the very first Open Mic @ The Daniel O'Connell Hotel came into existence and with it came a wonderful community of singers, musicians, songwriters and punters all with one goal in mind... To have a great time and to make beautiful music together?Well, 20 years have gone by and a lot has changed, mainly that the Daniel O'Connell Hotel is no more but Darren and I are going to get the band back together and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the very first Open Mic @ The Dan at Wassail Wine Bar located at 95 Prospect Road in Prospect.
It will be a once off Open Mic @ Wassail and it's open to everyone even if you've never set foot in The Dan in your life.
The running sheet will be open for registrations from 5:30pm and remember... first come, first served. Music will kick off from 6:30pm.
Do yourself a favour and mark off Saturday November 14th off on your calendar in red pen, tell all your friends and get on down to Wassail for an extravaganza that will be remembered for years to come.
