The 2026-27 season opens on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. with The OK Factor at Baldwin Auditorium. Cellist Olivia Diercks and violinist Karla Peters have captivated audiences across the country with their original music that blends classical traditions with contemporary influences. Their remarkable musical connection, engaging stage presence, and creative artistry have earned praise for performances that are both familiar and refreshingly original. In addition to performing, the duo is deeply committed to music education through workshops, school residencies, and community outreach programs. During their visit to Quincy, they will also conduct a workshop for Quincy Public Schools students, providing young musicians with an opportunity to learn directly from the duo. *Tickets will be available online and at local outlets soon.*
High school students and younger may attend at no cost. Faculty, staff, and students from JWCC, Quincy University, and Culver-Stockton College gain free admission with their school ID. Checks may be sent to PO Box 1165 Quincy, IL 62306-1165. A single admission ticket is $25 and season tickets are $90. QCMA has ticket reciprocity agreements with The Hannibal Concert Association and The Keokuk Concert Association.
The Quincy Civic Music Association was organized in 1927, with the purpose of presenting seasons of 4 to 6 concerts by professional musicians and dancers. It is the oldest existing cultural organization in Quincy devoted to professional entertainment.
