Join us for the official premiere of The Obsidian Mirror — an independent feature film created right here in Northeast Ohio.
On Saturday, November 14, 2026, the historic Canton Palace Theatre becomes the setting for a special night celebrating the cast, crew, supporters, and community who helped bring The Obsidian Mirror to life.
The evening begins with a Red Carpet Event, followed by the premiere screening of the film on the Palace Theatre's big screen and a special Q&A with members of the cast and crew following the film.
Come walk the red carpet, experience the film with its cast and filmmakers, and be part of the night we finally bring The Obsidian Mirror to an audience.
ABOUT THE FILM
In THE OBSIDIAN MIRROR, grieving teen Max Ashford discovers an Aztec obsidian mirror buried at an abandoned dig site connected to his late father’s final expedition. Believing the artifact may hold answers about what truly happened, Max becomes increasingly drawn to its power — despite growing concern from his friends.
But the mirror is no ordinary relic. An ancient presence lingers beyond its surface, manipulating Max’s grief and turning curiosity into obsession. As strange events escalate and tensions rise at home, Max and his friends realize they have awakened something that doesn’t intend to stay trapped.
Now marked by the mirror and hunted by the force behind it, the group must uncover how to close the doorway before the entity crosses into their world — and destroys everything in its path.
Some doors should never be opened.
Some reflections answer back.
