34 Years Later: A Seattle Pearl Jam CelebrationWashed in Black is stoked to be back at Billy Blues Bar & Grill for a very special night celebrating Pearl Jam, Seattle music history, and the community that has kept this music alive for more than three decades.
October 1990 marked the very beginning of Pearl Jam as a live band in Seattle — from their first show at the Off Ramp to the early rehearsal and demo sessions that helped launch one of the most important bands of the era.
34 years later, we’re celebrating those Seattle roots — just south in Vancouver.
Washed in Black will take the stage for an epic live Pearl Jam experience, digging beyond the hits and deep into the catalog with rarities, deep cuts, fan favorites, and songs you don’t hear every night.

We’re fired up to have our very own Nick Mardon bringing the Nick Mardon Trio out to kick off the night.
The Seattle-based blues-rock power trio features Nick Mardon on guitar and vocals, Adin Pennington on bass and vocals, and Andy Emery on drums.
Their sound blends the raw power of ’60s and ’70s blues-rock with the Seattle sound of the 1990s. After hundreds of shows throughout the Pacific Northwest, they’ve built a massive repertoire featuring original music along with timeless covers from artists including Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Sublime, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash and more.
