This Is Our North.
This is the day where Northland Rugby comes together.
The North is a celebration of the clubs, communities and people who are the foundation of our game. From the Far North to the south of the region, every player, coach, referee, volunteer and supporter has played a part in shaping Northland Rugby, and this day is dedicated to recognising that contribution.
Before every representative jersey, there was a local club. Before every packed grandstand, there were Saturday mornings on community fields. Every Taniwha, every Kauri and every player who has represented Northland started somewhere.
This is where we celebrate those beginnings.
Throughout the day, clubs from across Te Tai Tokerau will proudly wear their colours as they come together for our annual Club Parade, while young players will take centre stage in pre-match Rippa Rugby games and the ever-popular Kids Tunnel, reminding us that the future of Northland Rugby is already running onto the field.
Adding to the occasion is one of the season's biggest rivalries, as the Taniwha take on Counties Manukau with the Bruce Robertson Trophy on the line. Combined with a triple-header of representative rugby, family entertainment and interactive activations, The North promises to be one of the biggest celebrations of community rugby on our calendar.
Supporters can enjoy the Silver Fern Sport Half-Time Challenge, the crowd-favourite Haka Off, the Barfoot and Thompson’s Best Seats experience and a full day of entertainment designed to celebrate the clubs and communities that continue to grow our game.
To ensure every club can be part of the occasion, 100 complimentary tickets will be available for supporters attending in their club colours, creating a sea of jerseys from every corner of Northland.
At the heart of the day is one simple message: Positive Vibes Only. Rugby has the power to bring people together, and this fixture is about celebrating our shared love of the game, respecting everyone who makes it possible and creating an atmosphere that every family can enjoy.
Because no matter where you come from, what club you represent or what jersey you wear... We're all part of The North.
