A Holographic Cabaret Show
La Veilleuse or The Nightlight brings together music, dance, and holographic technology in a surreal performance that blurs the line between the physical and the immaterial.
Inspired by the “ghost lamp”—the light traditionally left burning on an empty theatre stage—the performance imagines a theatre where artists appear, disappear, multiply, and leave traces of their movements in space.
Featuring artists including Yael Naim, Kaori Ito, and Birds on a Wire, the work transforms the stage into an otherworldly space where holographic images and live performance come together to explore what it means to be present, even when the body is not.
