🎩🚢 NIGHT BOAT TO MADNESS IS BACK !!!Wednesday 30 December 2026
Baggy Trousers and Brizvegas Cruises are heading back onto the Brisbane River for our annual NIGHT BOAT TO MADNESS — The Best New Year’s Eve (Eve) Party Afloat.
We’ve been doing this for five or six years now and it has become one of our favourite nights of the year.
Just 120 people aboard the MV Lady in Red, cruising the Brisbane River at night with Baggy Trousers playing TWO live sets of Madness and UK Party Classics.
And when we say up close and personal, we mean it.
There’s no big venue and no hiding at the back. We’re all aboard the same boat for the evening. We’ll welcome you aboard, play two sets while we cruise the river and see you again when we come back alongside later that night.
It gets crowded. The dance floor gets busy. Everyone seems to know the words. And that’s very much part of Night Boat to Madness.
🎺 Expect loads of Madness from 1979 to today, mixed with some of the great UK Party Classics we grew up with.
And we keep the British singalong going before the band starts and during the break too.
So get your mates together, grab a drink, find a spot on deck and watch Brisbane go past while the Lady in Red becomes our floating House of Fun for the night.
Over the years we’ve had people fly in from Adelaide, Melbourne and even Perth for Night Boat. We’ve had visitors over from the UK join us while staying with family. Some people make a Brisbane trip around it.
And plenty come back and do it all again the following year.
That probably tells you more about the night than we can.

Night Boat invariably sells out, and with only 120 people able to come aboard, we strongly recommend getting in early.
