Every story has chapters. Some we celebrate, some we survive, some change us in ways we never expected. And as we approach the end of 2026, perhaps it’s time to pause, turn the page and consider what we’d like the next chapter to look like.
Join Cath and Louise for a relaxed, creative and thought-provoking afternoon combining the symbolic language of Tarot, guided meditation and vision board creation as we reflect on the year behind us and explore the possibilities of 2027.
Because the next chapter isn’t just about what you want to have. It’s about who you’re becoming, what matters to you and the life you want to create.
🃏 Tarot, the Fool’s Journey & Your Story
In Tarot, the Major Arcana tells a story often called the Fool’s Journey, a symbolic exploration of life’s beginnings, challenges, discoveries and transformations. And really, isn’t that life?
We find ourselves taking unexpected turns, learning uncomfortable lessons, celebrating victories and sometimes starting all over again.
Through the imagery and archetypes of Tarot, we’ll explore our own journeys, recognising what 2026 has taught us and considering what we might choose to carry into 2027.
You don’t need to know anything about Tarot to participate. We’ll introduce the cards and their symbolism in a way that makes them accessible to everyone.
⚙️ The Turning of the Wheel
Our gathering also takes place as we approach Litha, the Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere, a seasonal celebration associated with the fullness of the sun, growth, vitality and illumination.
In numerology, 2027 carries the energy of 11/2, offering us a beautiful connection to Justice and the High Priestess in the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot. Themes of conscious choice, balance and trusting our inner knowing.
We’ll also touch on the approaching Chinese Year of the Fire Goat, traditionally associated with creativity and expression.
These are simply different symbolic ways of exploring the turning of a cycle. You don’t need to follow any particular spiritual tradition or belief system to find meaning in the afternoon.
👁️‍🗨️ Creating Your Vision
Following a guided intention-setting meditation, we’ll get creative!
Using Tarot imagery, collage, stickers, words, colours and whatever else inspires you, you’ll create your own vision board for the year ahead.
Perhaps yours will reflect the experiences you’d love to have, the things you’d like to achieve or the person you’re growing into.
There are no rules about what your board should look like, no artistic ability required and absolutely no pressure to make it pretty. This is about creating something meaningful to YOU.
We’ll finish with an optional sharing circle, an opportunity to speak your intentions aloud, witness one another’s visions and celebrate the stories we’re creating.
Then it’s time for snacks, sips and a little connection before we head home.
