About this Event
Get the scoop on UAD 3.6 and how it’s shaking up appraisals for your listings and buyers.
The way homes are appraised is changing. Starting in November of this year there will be a transition on appraisals for conventional loans sold to Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac and the new UAD 3.6 format will be required. This is the biggest overhaul of appraisal reporting since 2011.
The familiar appraisal forms (1004, 1073, 2055 and others) will be gone. In their place is one dynamic report that captures more detailed data about property condition, features, and the market. If you list homes or represent buyers, that affects your pricing conversations, your prep work before the appraiser arrives, and your timelines to closing.
Join Fairway Home Mortgage and local appraiser Leslie Puppo of Avanti Appraisals for a practical one-hour session built for working agents.
You’ll learn:
- What actually changed and what the new report looks like, so you’re not seeing it for the first time on a live deal
- How to prep your listings so the property’s condition, updates, and features are accurately captured
- What it means for your buyers, from repair flags to how the new report reads
- Live Q&A with an appraiser who is completing these reports right now
The agents who understand this change first will set expectations better, price smarter, and close cleaner. Bring your questions and your toughest files.
