Neither do we. Somewhere between the kids, the Saturday rink schedule and an alarm that doesn't care what you did last night, the midnight-to-3am era quietly ended. What didn't end: knowing every single word to "Yeah!", "Hot in Herre" and "Crazy in Love" the second they drop.
The Mixtape is a 2000s club night built for grown folks who still want it — just earlier. Doors at 6. DJ WeaponX opens, DJ Kwake takes the decks at 7 and runs it straight through: Usher, 50, Rihanna, Nelly, Britney, Eminem, Alicia, Sean Paul, Outkast, Maroon 5, Linkin Park. No filler, no deep cuts nobody asked for — the exact tracklist you burned onto a CD and left in your car door. Hosted by R.J., who will absolutely be rocking the mic and keeping you hyped.
Lights up at 9. Home by 10. Full night's sleep, functional the next morning, and you still got the dance floor. Nobody in Edmonton is doing this format — a real club atmosphere, the music you actually love, with people who grew up on it. One night only. Wear black and come ready to sing.
