On Saturday 12th December, Rowtons' Museum will be hosting our first Midwinter Spirit Fayre. It will be a gathering of all things magical and strange... including mediums & psychics, guest speakers, and a visit from Mari Lwyd at the end of the day.ʏᴏᴜ ᴄᴀɴ ᴇxᴘᴇᴄᴛ:
✦ a boutique selection of gifted psychics & mediums, set up across the schoolroom and séance parlour, featuring spirit art, tarot, and runes
✦ guest speakers throughout the day, hosted within the sacred space of the chapel
✦ a beautiful selection of spiritual items, including many handmade, one-of-a-kind wonders, brought to you by the museum, museum community members, and visiting witchy crafters
✦ a raffle
✦ shortly after the stalls wind down their offerings at 5pm, the museum will be receiving a very special visitor. The traditional Welsh, horse skull folk custom, Mari Lwyd will be bringing merriment (and perhaps a little chaos!) to the museum in a delightful winter ceremony... before being formally installed within the museum's collection.
Doors open at 10am. £5 entrance on the door (cash).
**All proceeds from entrance and the raffle will go towards fixing the museum's leaky Ancestors' Gallery roof.**
