About this Event
The Midnight Library 🕯️🐦⬛📖
Join us for a moody evening of junk journaling, creativity, and literary inspiration at The Quirky Crow Bookshop! This relaxed, beginner-friendly creative night invites you to slow down, get inspired, and spend time creating alongside fellow junk journal and stationery lovers.
Rather than a traditional step-by-step class, this evening is designed to give you the freedom to create at your own pace. We'll start with a little inspiration and some ideas to get you going, followed by plenty of open creative time to experiment with layering, collaging, journaling, and creating pages inspired by the dark academia aesthetic.
Your evening includes: a curated dark academia-themed scrap pack, access to a variety of communal papers, stickers, ephemera, and other creative supplies, plus plenty of time to create and connect with other creatives. You'll also have the opportunity to explore The Quirky Crow's impeccable selection of books, stationery, and stickers for even more inspiration.
Please bring: your own journal or notebook, scissors, and favorite adhesive. You're also welcome to bring any additional journaling supplies you'd like to incorporate.
The evening will take place at The Quirky Crow Bookshop, a cozy and inclusive independent bookshop known for its thoughtfully curated book selection and extensive stationery and sticker collection. Surrounded by books, stories, and the atmosphere of an after-hours library, The Quirky Crow provides the perfect backdrop for an intimate evening of creativity and junk journaling. Free parking is available in the lot for easy access.
This event will be hosted by Bay Area content creator and junk journaling educator, Alexandria (@alexandria.x.g), who has built a social media following by sharing approachable junk journaling ideas that encourage everyday creativity.
