Grab your favorite bookish besties and join Literary Legends Knoxville for an enchanting evening inspired by books, witches, sisterhood, autumn nights, and a little bit of Practical Magic.
For one night, we’re transforming the space into The Midnight Book Coven, a cozy, candlelit gathering filled with vintage teacups, stacks of books, witchy details, Halloween treats, local vendors, and a little magic around every corner.
Come dressed in your favorite witchy-inspired outfit. Think dark florals, flowing skirts, boots, lace, velvet, celestial details, cozy fall layers, dark academia, or anything that makes you feel like you belong in a magical old library after dark.
Find a seat at the tea table, browse the bookish market, mingle with fellow readers, and end the evening curled up together for a showing of Practical Magic.
What’s Happening
Witchy Tea Party
Enjoy an evening tea service with a selection of teas alongside Halloween-inspired sweets, pastries, finger foods, and little treats.
The Midnight Book Coven Book Swap
Bring a book you’ve loved and are ready to pass along, then leave with a new story for your shelf. Spooky reads, fantasy, romance, gothic fiction, thrillers, mysteries, and witchy books are especially encouraged.
Witchy Photo Corner
Stop by our small styled photo area for a quick picture with your coven. Expect a few moody, bookish details inspired by old libraries, autumn nights, and a touch of Practical Magic.
Dress Witchy
No costume required. Just come dressed for the mood. Think witchy, whimsical, gothic, celestial, dark academia, cozy fall, or Practical Magic-inspired.
Potion Bar
Sip tea and specialty themed drinks inspired by magical books and our favorite witchy moments. And yes, there may just be a little nod to Midnight Margaritas.
Bookish and Witchy Vendor Market
Shop books, candles, art, jewelry, bookmarks, reader accessories, Halloween goodies, cozy fall finds, florals, and other magical creations from local vendors.
The Haunted Bookshelf Raffle
Enter to win bookish goodies, gift baskets, local experiences, and other surprises throughout the evening.
Practical Magic Movie Night
At 7:30 PM, the lights go down, the candles glow, the popcorn comes out, and we settle in together for Practical Magic.
Bring a blanket, get comfortable, and enjoy a cozy fall movie night surrounded by fellow readers.
Evening Schedule
6:00 PM | The Coven Gathers
Doors open. Grab your tea, take a photo, browse the vendor market, visit the book swap, and spend some time with your bookish besties.
6:30 PM | Witchy Tea Service Begins
Settle in for tea, Halloween treats, conversation, shopping, and a little Practical Magic-inspired fun.
7:30 PM | Practical Magic Movie Night
Find your spot, grab some popcorn and a cozy blanket, and enjoy the movie.
9:45 PM | Haunted Bookshelf Raffle
We’ll draw our raffle winners and send a few lucky witches home with something extra magical.
10:00 PM or Later | The Evening Winds Down
Stay awhile, finish your tea, shop, chat with your coven, and enjoy the last bit of magic before heading home.
