Welcome to The Meet Down on Number 7!We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back for another Meet Down on Number 7.
If you’ve joined us before, there won’t be too many changes. The aim is still the same: bring together a fantastic selection of classic and vintage vehicles, enjoy a relaxed day with like-minded people, and raise some money for a very worthwhile cause.
Bringing a Classic Vehicle?
If you would like to bring a classic or vintage vehicle along to display, please send the details to:

There is no need to have a show-winning vehicle — if it’s old, interesting and you’re proud of it, we’d love to see it!
If you would also like your vehicle to feature in our event programme, please see the details below.
Vehicle Arrival
If you are bringing a vehicle to display, please aim to arrive between 8.30am and 9.30am.
Getting everyone in during this window gives us time to park the vehicles properly before visitors begin arriving.
It also means you’ll be first in the queue for a bacon cob… 😉
Visitors
The event will be open to visitors from 10.00am.
There will be a marshal at the end of the road to guide you towards the visitor parking.
Where possible, we recommend parking visitor vehicles away from the main lorry display so we can keep the event area safe and enjoyable for everyone.
If you or somebody travelling with you has mobility difficulties, please let the marshal know when you arrive and we’ll do our best to get you parked as close to the event as possible.
Please Remember – This Is a Public Road
Although The Meet Down on Number 7 is an organised event, please remember that it takes place on a public road within a working industrial area.
The road is not closed to normal traffic, so please take care at all times and remain aware of your surroundings.
There may be moving vehicles throughout the day, as well as everyday hazards such as uneven surfaces, kerbs, potholes and other road or site hazards.
Classic and vintage vehicles will also be moving around the event area, particularly during the morning arrival period and again as vehicles begin to leave. Many older commercial vehicles have limited visibility around them, so please give any vehicle that is moving or manoeuvring plenty of room.
We especially ask parents and guardians to keep children under close supervision around the vehicles and roadway.
Please follow any instructions given by our marshals and use common sense when moving around the event. We want everyone to have a relaxed and enjoyable day, but please remember that The Meet Down on Number 7 is taking place on a live public road.
Refreshments
Nobody should have to look around old lorries on an empty stomach!
We’ll have:
- Hot breakfast cobs
- Hot and cold drinks
- Speciality coffees
- And, most importantly… cake!
The Event Programme
We’re really proud of how our event programme is developing and we’d love to feature more of the vehicles that actually attend The Meet Down on Number 7.
If you’re entering a vehicle and would like it included in the programme, please send us:
1. Year, make and model
2. Owner’s name and location
3. A brief story or history of the vehicle
4. Any photographs you would like us to consider using

Whether your vehicle has been restored from the ground up, has spent its life working, has been in the family for years, or simply has an interesting story behind it, we’d love to hear about it.
Programme Sponsorship
We’re also welcoming businesses and individuals who would like to support the event by advertising in our programme.
50% of every advertising fee will go directly to Prost8, with the remaining 50% helping to cover the cost of printing the programme.

Supporting Prost8
This year we’re proud to be raising money for Prost8.
Prost8 is a prostate cancer charity working to improve access to better treatments and outcomes for men diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Supporting the charity is an important part of what The Meet Down on Number 7 is all about, so we hope that alongside enjoying the vehicles, meeting old friends and making new ones, we can raise a fantastic amount for Prost8.
