Journey to the Red Planet through science and cinema at our Mars-themed PSCC Sci/Fi Fest! See Mars as you’ve never seen it before—on the largest screen in the Valley. From alien invasion to fantastical adventure and scientific discovery, experience it all on the BIG SCREEN in our Historic Camelot Theatre.
Get into the spirit with hands-on activities! Save yourself from the Martians and create your own foil hat, or become a Martian and craft an alien headband. Browse Mars-themed books and test your knowledge of the science versus fiction in The Martian—what’s fact, and what’s Hollywood? Fuel your journey to the Red Planet with our famous hot buttered popcorn and a retro candy classic—a Mars Bar! Available at concessions throughout the fest.

5–8 PM — Foodie Fridays Food trucks, live music, and a festive start to the weekend.
6 PM — Mars Attacks! The Mars We Feared — Based on the notorious 1962 Topps trading cards pulled from shelves after public outcry, Tim Burton’s outrageous sci-fi comedy unleashes a star-studded alien invasion. Includes Mars-Themed 5PM - Pre-Show!
Saturday, October 24
1 PM — Good Night Oppy — FREE The Mars We’re Exploring — Follow the rover Opportunity on an extraordinary journey of discovery, and meet the people who made it possible.
3 PM — John Carter The Mars We Envisioned — Explore Edgar Rice Burroughs’s landmark science-fiction series through a sweeping film adaptation that brings his fantastical Mars to the big screen.
6 PM — The Martian The Mars We Survive — An astronaut stranded on Mars puts science, ingenuity, and determination to work in a fight for survival.
