The Margins Circle 📖🤎 is a curated monthly literary gathering for poets, authors, songwriters, and literary lovers needing inspiration. We gather in small intimate circles — no stages, no pressure, just the work and the people who care about it and are needing a safe space.
All experiences welcome.
This is our first paid gathering at The Company of Books and we are so glad to be here. Come ready to share, listen, reflect, and connect. You don't have to perform. You just have to show up as your authentic self.

Info: Members arrive, light conversation, host sets the atmosphere. Light snacks provided welcome to bring a snack as well.

Book of the Month — 20 min
Info: Each gathering we spotlight a book — written by someone in our circle or currently being read by one of our members. A few pages are read aloud to the group, followed by a brief conversation about what moved us. Links to purchase will be shared so we can support the author directly. If you have a book you'd like to feature at a future gathering, DM us. @Margins.circle on Instagram.

Performance Round — 35 min
Info: 5–6 writers share a piece they're working on — 3 to 4 minutes each. Optional delivery feedback on pacing, flow, and volume.

Reflection Conversation
Info: We slow down and talk about what we just experienced together. What themes came up? What line stayed with you? What did someone say that reminded you of something you've been carrying? This is where the real connection happens.

Closing Ritual
Info: We close the way we always do. One word. To express how you're feeling leaving this room today compared to how you walked in.
