About this Event

Somewhere between our thirties and sixties, the maps that used to guide us can stop making sense.

It can feel bewildering to reach a stage where you expected stability, only to find yourself feeling adrift, stuck at a crossroads, or sensing a quiet, persistent pull that something needs to change.

Whether it is a career that no longer fits, shifting relationships, or simply a deep search for meaning, join us in person at The Land, Derbyshire for an empowering event designed to help you navigate your next steps.

What to Expect

Drawing on Carl Jung's insight that midlife is not a crisis to be solved, but a gateway into a whole new stage of life, author and midlife coach Nick Thorpe will guide us through four core inner archetypes/energies:

  • Resistance — Understanding where you hold back or stay rooted
  • Surrender — Learning when to drop the map and trust the flow
  • Envisioning — Gaining clarity on the horizon ahead
  • Striving — Finding the grounded momentum to take active steps

Through discussion, reflection, and a guided visual grounding exercise, you will discover which of these four energies you lean on most, which ones carry your hidden superpowers, and how to balance them on difficult days.

What's Included in Your Ticket (£15)
  • Workshop & Guided Exercises: Interactive sessions and reflections led by Nick Thorpe.
  • Lunch: A wholesome lunch provided onsite at The Land.
  • Cuppa & Chat (Post-Event): Stay on after the session to relax, connect with like-minded people, share stories, or ask Nick questions over a warm hot drink.
