The Physics and Astronomy Graduate Student Organization (PAGSO) and the WVU Department of Physics and Astronomy will host The Magic of Physics Children's Science Show at 7:00 PM on October 23 in White Hall B51.✨ ABOUT THE EVENT ✨
Children in attendance will receive a Halloween-themed goodie bag! At this event, physics and astronomy graduate students will illustrate a variety of physics and astronomy phenomena at an age-appropriate level using demonstrations to promote an interest in science. Topics include simple mechanics, projectile motion, electricity and magnetism, angular momentum, inertia, and waves and diffraction.
This event is free and open to the public of all ages! Reservations are required. Tickets are available via our friends at the WVU Planetarium and Observatory on September 28, while seats remain.

🎃 White Hall is located on the Downtown Campus of West Virginia University at 135 Willey Street in Morgantown, WV. The event will be hosted in the building's annex, located directly across the street from the Lutheran Campus Ministry along University Avenue.
🎃 Parents and/or legal guardians must be present and supervising children at all times during this event.
🎃For information about parking on the WVU Downtown Campus, visit WVU Transportation & Parking or the Morgantown Parking Authority.
🎃 Please be aware that this show includes loud demonstrations that may be overwhelming for those with sensory sensitivities.
🎃 For the purpose of creating promotional materials and maintaining event archives, photographers will be present. Please be advised that photographs will be taken, with the primary subject being the demonstrations.
