February 7th @ 2pm
Forbes Center for the Performing Arts
Mainstage Theater
ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE:
Join Prince Tamino on a magical quest to rescue Pamina, the daughter of the Queen of the Night. With only a magic flute, Tamino and his birdcatcher friend, Papageno, set off on the adventure of a lifetime. However, not everything is as it seems, and as their story twists and turns, Tamino, Pamina and Papageno encounter trials and tribulations that teach them how to achieve true enlightenment. Mozart’s classic opera—equal parts fairytale and allegory—explores how societies and individuals move past division, coming together in harmony… with the help of a little music. Sung in German with English surtitles and English dialogue.
