Get your Halloween on and join us for an unholy amount of fun as The Love Markets return to grace/disgrace the Royal Room stage with a set of our most otherworldly songs! Thrill to teen-vampire tangos and undertaker’s waltzes, cheer as sideshow freaks take their revenge, and listen in disbelief as Dave Marriott’s trombone transforms into a flurry of bats and a werewolf on the prowl. Be delighted by our Special Guests as Tsubaki’s spectral sounds stir up the spirits at top of show and Jose “Juicy” Gonzales Trio close us out with radiant jams and grooveyard funk! The night is full of surprises (and if you come in costume, you just might win a prize). So grab your tix, come lift a glass with us, and let all those bats in your belfry out to play! All ages until 10 PM.
THE LOVE MARKETS are a Weimar Berlin-inspired band who make songs of love and revolution, investigating the machinery of modern life with subversive wit, political bite, and intoxicating soul. A fixture in Seattle’s arts scene since 2009, their critically acclaimed record releases include WORLD OF YOUR DREAMS, BEAUTY FACTORY, and 2025’s luminous SHIP OF LIGHT. Louise’s emotionally rangy compositions find ideal form in the band’s unique sound: Robertson Witmer’s shape-shifting accordion, the strut and croon of David Marriott Jr.’s trombone, Dave Pascal’s dexterously juicy bass, Chris Monroe’s sensuous drums, and Louise’s own uber-expressive vocals and adventurous keys. “Irresistible." - Seattle Magazine. "Ruffle-clad ruffians... Uber-belter vocals... Fearsome chops." - City Arts. www.thelovemarkets.com
JOSE "JUICY" GONZALES TRIO is defined by a spooky sense of musical chemistry. Known across the Pacific Northwest for their legendary, perennial sold-out tributes to Vince Guaraldi, the trio's expansive repertoire bridges the gap between timeless Great American Songbook standards and soulful 70s-era pop reinventions… are you ready to have their spell put on you? www.jose.band
TSUBAKI - From a shipwreck long forgotten by history in the depths of the deepest ocean, Ayako and Joe were guided through treacherous seas by Pelorus Jack IV to the calm of Puget Sound to bring their timeless Tsubaki sound to the stage for one night only. Let the lost sounds of the ballroom piano (Ayako) and parlor guitar (Joe) wash over you and bring you into the deep…
