💡 Looking to explore new horizons and connect with a community of open-minded people?☕ The English Language Café and Multi Kulti Collective invite you to a special edition of our idea-exchange initiative:
"The Lost Art of Play: Curiosity, Creativity and Learning" with Julia Neuhoff.
❓ Why join us?
When was the last time you did something just to see what would happen? As children, we learn through play: we experiment, ask endless questions, invent stories, make mistakes, and try again. Somewhere along the way, many of us become more focused on getting things right, being productive, and knowing exactly what we're doing. But what if play isn't something we need to grow out of?
Play is much more than entertainment. It's a powerful driver of curiosity, creativity, and learning. It helps us explore new possibilities, challenge assumptions, and approach the unknown with openness rather than fear.
In this interactive session, we'll explore why play matters beyond childhood, how play, curiosity, and learning are connected, what changes when we approach challenges with a playful mindset, and how we can bring more curiosity and experimentation into our everyday lives.
Come along, bring your curiosity, and let's rediscover what happens when we give ourselves permission to play!
🎙️ Who is your presenter?
Julia Neuhoff is a Learning Experience Designer and Facilitator who explores how people learn, connect, and develop through experience. Her work brings together learning design, creativity, and an interest in human behavior.
🗣️ More than a lecture - this is an English Language Club!
After approximately 45 minutes of presentation, the evening opens into freestyle discussions and conversations among participants. Connect, share thoughts, practice your English in a relaxed setting, and meet incredible people from around the world. The exchange of ideas is just as much a part of the evening as the talk itself!
