The Loom women’s story nights are a gathering of sincere connection and beauty - a space where women can truly be inspired and invoked to look at their lives through a different lens.
After a phenomenal first night under the lush garden marquee at Upwey Wishing Well, we are returning this autumn for the second gathering in our series.
The theme for October is ‘Haunted’ and December is 'Winter's Quiet'. Five to six pre-selected women will step forward to share personal memoir, life reflections, folklore, or poetry inspired by this theme—the memories, moments, or stories that linger and shape who we are.
Whether you come on your own or with friends, The Loom offers an unhurried, generous room to sit in circle, listen deeply, and be part of a warm community of women.
The Evening Flow
6:00pm – Arrive, Nourish & Wander: Arrive early to wander the peaceful gardens, have a drink, or enjoy a light supper in the tea room (pre-order options available via the booking page). Drinks and cakes will also be available on the night.
7:15pm – The Stories Begin: We will take our seats together in the garden marquee.
9:00pm – Close: Evening concludes.
