The Loom "A Setting as Sacred as Your Stories"Nestled in the tropical gardens of the Upwey Wishing Well, our forthcoming gatherings are held in a place of natural beauty and wonder. Known for its spring waters and serene atmosphere, the Wishing Well offers the perfect backdrop for the sacred, connecting work of The Loom.
Enjoy the magical and intimate atmosphere of the tea rooms and gardens as we gather under the stars to weave the threads of our lives.
Claiming the power of our journey and voice...
The Loom women's story nights are a gathering of sincere connection and beauty. A space where women can be inspired and invoked to look at their lives through a different lens.
Our first gathering at Upwey Wishing Well saw women from right across West Dorset come together enchanted lush gardens. Hosted by myself and co-host Lu Orza, the evening centered around five women who stepped forward to share pieces of their journeys: Tansy from Netherbury, Fiona from Swanage, Lizzie and Lu from Bridport, and Ang from Portland.
It was a generous, heartfelt night filled with quiet truth, humour, and the simple power of being heard.
As we look to future dates at the Wishing Well, we look forward to welcoming more women into the gardens and tea room to weave our stories together.
