The annual London Advanced TB 2026 Course at the Royal College of Pathologists and W12 Conferences.
Delegates have the option of attending the full course, the first 2 days on the 1 & 2 of JUNE or the last 2 days on the 3 & 4 JUNE.
This popular comprehensive course features lectures on all aspects of TB covering the epidemiology, natural history, clinical presentations, diagnostics and management including MDR TB and paediatrics on day 1 & 2. This will include workshops in radiology and clinical /public health dilemmas. This will be of interest to all grades of doctors including consultants, specialist trainees in respiratory medicine or infectious diseases, general practitioners, microbiologists, public health physicians, TB nurses and other non-medical health professionals working in TB.
Due to the huge success of our 4 day conference last year we have decided to keep day 3 & 4 to give individuals the opportunity to expand and consolidate your knowledge following the London Advanced Course Lectures with a two day Workshop Modular Course on Tuberculosis (TB) Care and Management.
This educational program is designed for healthcare workers, health protection staff, and looking to deepen their understanding of TB care in an interactive workshop environment. With an emphasis on case studies, this course provides a structured approach to learning about the real-life complexities of TB management.
Key topics covered include:·
- Diagnosing and managing pulmonary and extra-pulmonary TB.
- Understanding and addressing drug-resistant TB and co-infections, such as TB and HIV.·
- Providing care for vulnerable populations, including children, migrants, and homeless individuals.
- Exploring public health strategies, such as contact tracing and treatment adherence.
Led by experienced TB healthcare professionals, this course equips participants with the knowledge and tools to address TB challenges in clinical and public health settings. Whether managing individual cases or contributing to broader prevention efforts, this program will strengthen your ability to tackle TB with confidence and expertise.
