It's time for another show darlings!
Your queen of cream is back to kick of the finale of The Living Well With HIV Celebrations, supported by Forest Gate Pride. In Forest Gate, we are focusing on some of the core topics of HIV, living well and challenging stigma. To kick off the finale celebrations, your basic b*tch will be pulling the balls once again to raise money for The Food Chain.
The Food Chain is the only HIV Nutrition charity within the UK, providing specialist nutrition care and support for people living with HIV. The team do wonders, from specialist qualified healthcare professionals (i.e. dieticians, physiotherapists), to board members, to much needed volunteers and off course public support and engagment. The Food Chain not only provides specialist food advice, but provide social groups, external support and speakers, hollistic referrals, links to charities, financial signposting, food delivery service and much more. Most importantly, they have ridden the wave of the HIV and AIDS history by supporting people since they opened in 1988.
I think a wet, moist, wild and exciting game of bingo is what is needed to help raise funds for this essential group. But, what does the event look like?
- 3 rounds of bingo ranging from numbers, musical bingo and a all important speed round.
- Games, surprises, and qwerky prizes
- Participation (singing and dancing) and helping to fundraise for an excellent cause.
- A chance to win the Chloe-Mydia staple, the to become legendary 'bag of sh*t'.
After the event, join us for further performances and dance the night away with the monthly Kick Down The Closet, hosted by Forest Gate Pride and their resident DJ, DJ Drama Q as per normal.
All proceeds go to charity and people are welcome to donate further via the website for The Food Chain (link below).
There will be a limited number of reduced price tickets for people who may not be able to afford the full price, and extra donations are available if you wanted to donate via The Food Chains website.
We also know that it can be difficult at this time to pay the full fee. So, we are offering a limited number of reduced price tickets to try and include more people. You will not be challenged on the day and we leave the decision to you. All tickets regarding price goes towards the final charity donation.
