About this Event
Join us for our next Unit Chambers Breakfast Club in Liverpool, led by consultant barristers Amjad Kadhim and Callum Hurley.
This session will focus on interim removal during care proceedings, with practical discussion around the evidential considerations when seeking or opposing removal.
Amjad and Callum will explore some of the key issues practitioners should consider at the interim stage, including:
- Preparing and challenging the evidence in support of an application for removal
- What should be considered when preparing the initial social work evidence
- The evidence required when seeking to establish that removal is necessary
- Key considerations for those acting for parents and Local Authorities
- Common issues and pitfalls to be aware of when preparing for an interim removal hearing
The session will provide an opportunity to hear practical perspectives from experienced family law practitioners, ask questions and discuss the issues that arise in practice.
And, of course, there’ll be time to meet and connect with other family law professionals over breakfast.
