Not too sure if your child should pick up music or drama? Why not do both?!
Little Big Sounds is an interactive drama-base programme for children aged 3–7, led by two experienced specialists in music and drama education. This programme combines both disciplines to help children develop musical foundations alongside active listening, creativity, communication, confidence, focus and self-expression.
Breaking away learning music through instruction and repetition, Little Big Sounds guides children to discover musical concepts through stories, movement, role-play, creative sound-making and play.
A Two-Year Musical Journey
The curriculum develops progressively across two years. In the 2-years, your child will be introduced to topics such as:
Me & My Body → Family & Numbers → Colours & Shapes → Opposites & Emotions →
Time & Days → Space & Planets → Animals & Weather → Seasons
The themes provide a meaningful context for children to explore musical ideas while discovering more about themselves and the world around them.
Choose the right group for your child
Little Explorers | Ages 3–4 (🕤 9:30–10:15am)
A playful introduction to musical foundations through stories, movement, creative play and sound exploration.
Creative Explorers | Ages 5–7 (🕥 10:30–11:15am)
A deeper exploration of musical understanding, listening, creative expression and performance through music and drama.
Why Music + Drama?
Music develops listening and musical awareness. Drama gives children ways to imagine, move, communicate and express.
Together, they create opportunities for children to:
• develop aural sensitivity and musical understanding
• experience rhythm and pulse physically
• experiment creatively without fear of being “wrong”
• communicate ideas and emotions
• collaborate and respond to others
• build confidence, focus and resilience
