About this Event
We are excited to announce HLCNI’s 2nd Annual Workshop: The Latino Leadership Pipeline, a professional development program designed to prepare Latino/Hispanic individuals for nonprofit board service.
This program was created to increase Latino/Hispanic representation on nonprofit boards and build a stronger, more inclusive community. The Latino Leadership Pipeline is a one-day event led by Mike Stone of Stone Consulting, LLC, an expert in nonprofit board governance. Participants will receive hands-on training on nonprofit board functions, how to find the right board opportunity, and how to present themselves as strong candidates for board membership.
In addition, we will feature a panel of local leaders who will share their advice, experiences, and insights on nonprofit board service.
A professional headshot opportunity will also be included with admission.
This program aims to create a pool of competent and qualified Latino/Hispanic leaders who are eager to contribute their skills, experience, and leadership to our community.
