Video game expert Alex Rogan finds himself transported to another planet after conquering the video game The Last Starfighter, only to find out it was just a test. He was recruited to join the team of best Starfighters to defend their world from the attack.
This September, PFS is teaming up with Paducah's Crash! Comics to present The Last Starfighter. Crash! has exclusive copies of the new comic book adaptation of the 80s sci-fi classic with art by Wil Woods and Tyrine Carver of Mustap Studios for sale at the shop. Wil will be on hand the night of the screening to sign copies or to sign PFS posters, which also feature his artwork.
The Paducah Film Society is Maiden Alley Cinema's own monthly movie club, screening classic, cult, and foreign films in western Kentucky. This month's screening was made possible by Crash! Comics. PFS is supported by Maiden Alley Cinema, WKMS, and local donors.
