For the last time we would like to invite you to Phuct. Friday the 13th of February at the Lanes will be our last event and we would love you to join us for it.And for the first time ever we will have the full foursome of Phuct DJs as Haggis, Scoundrel and Missy Malice will be joined by the Phuct OG DaveB for one final hoorah!
From the halcyon days in Bristol Bierkeller (where 'bin juice' became the most infamous drink to ever stain your insides) starting with DJs Dave B and Haggis, where one Missy Malice later joined the crew, via a brief stint at The Hatchet, to our final home at The Lanes (where we gained DJ Scoundrel), Phuct has flown the flag for all things Rock, Metal and Alternative in the South West with more passion than any club before it.
Playing music that has always spanned from the birth of rock music right to the present day, Phuct has never stuck to a single niche and has always embraced the entire rock and metal community as one where everybody is welcome (so long as they're respectful to others too - we've never been afraid to boot somebody out if they're being a dick to anybody else).
We're beyond proud of our longevity and we hope we've contributed to the Rock scene in a positive way. We will always be proud that you can still get entry at the same £5 cover charge now as you could 23 years ago (and it's taken some serious work to keep our entry prices that low).
But it's time for Phuct to head into the sunset and call it a day.
After the insanity of the January event we suspect this will be a big one, so let's go hard one final time and show everybody what Phuct has stood for longer than anybody else.
As with January, there will be (limited - approx 50% of the venue capacity) advance tickets on sale for each and once the presale allocation is gone it'll be pay on the door, first come first served, on the night only.
Bristol: it has been a privilege and an honour to be part of your lives for the last 23 years. We want to truly thank every single person who has supported Phuct during that time. It has been a blast.
