About this Event
Join us at 1834 Tavern Lafayette on October 13 at 6:30 PM for an intimate Grand Cru wine dinner and M**der mystery unlike anything we've hosted before.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy:
- A six-course dining experience, paired with a rare selection of French wines and spirits.
- A visiting wine expert from France who will guide you through selections from Domaine François André, Brice Champagne, and Lhéraud Cognac, sharing the stories, regions, and traditions behind each pour.
- Renowned French appellations: Grand Cru Grower Champagne, Grand Cru Burgundy in both red and white, and Chorey-lès-Beaune.
- A rare 1976 vintage Pineau des Charentes, produced in the Cognac region of France and fortified with Cognac. Aged for nearly 50 years, this distinctive fortified dessert wine offers guests the opportunity to experience an exceptionally mature expression of one of the region’s historic specialties.
These wines are here together for first time in Northwest Arkansas and for one night only; an evening devoted to French wine, food, and intrigue.
Because somewhere between the first pour and the final course, something goes terribly wrong.
As dinner unfolds, so will a thrilling M**der mystery. Pay attention to the details, follow the clues, question what you think you know, and see if you can uncover the truth before The Last Pour.
