The University of Findlay's Theatre Program presents:The Laramie Project
by Moisés Kaufman and the members of Tectonic Theater Project
In 1998, Matthew Shepard was kidnapped, beaten, and left tied to a fence outside Laramie, Wyoming. After Shepard's death, Moisés Kaufman and the members of Tectonic Theater Project conducted more than 200 interviews with the people of Laramie, creating this deeply moving play directly from their words. Because this performance details the aftermath of a hate crime, it contains strong language and adult themes and is not recommended for young children.
WHERE: The John and Hester Powell Grimm Theatre in the Egner Center for the Performing Arts
WHEN: Show dates and times are Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21 at 7:30pm and Sunday, November 22 at 2:00pm.
