About this Event
A hands-on outdoor day to inspire educators with ideas to develop children's language and literacy skills through imaginative, multisensory, nature based activities.
The day, led by Annie Berrington from Get Out More CIC, will include games, crafts, stories and imaginative exercises which engage learners with the outdoor setting.
Please note: The course includes both indoor and outdoor sessions so please bring suitable clothing and footwear.
Tea and coffee will be provided but you will need to bring your own packed lunch. The site is nut free.
This course is funded by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society and is free to attend.
Directions: The course takes place in the Bee Pavilion at the Great Yorkshire Event Centre on the Great Yorkshire Showground.
Come in along Railway Road and follow the perimeter road up to the top of the Showground. The Education Centre is signposted on green signs along this road. Entry is through the Education Gate. The Showground is a large site so please do not turn off into any of the other gates.
The Great Yorkshire Event Centre is the closest location to the Bee Pavilion on site with a What 3 Words identification - flows.desire.buzz
