The Keeper of the Bees: Bees, Beekeeping and Irish Folklore

Join us for an enlightening discussion bringing together honey and mead producers Galtee Honey Farm and Kinsale Mead with folklorist Eimear Chaomhánach, author of 'The Keeper of the Bees'.

Hosted by James Gabriel Martin, the event will explore the art and practice of beekeeping, honey production and the creation of world-class handcrafted mead. These age-old practices will be interwoven with the folklore, myths and traditions that bees, beekeepers and their produce have inspired throughout the millennia.
