About this Event
The Ringneck Classic hosts a 3-day event of approximately 100 hunters comprised of sponsors, guests of the Governor, youth hunters and past alumni hunt participants. The Classic has been honored to host over 200 active, retired and wounded veterans from our armed forces. Ongoing partnerships have been formed with several organizations including Pheasants and Quail Forever, Freedom Hunters, the NWTF and Pass it On Outdoor Mentors. Each year the event host guests from these organizations to support their fundraising efforts.
Since 2011, the Classic has generated more than $850K for the Northwest Kansas Conservation Foundation. The foundation awards an annual college scholarship, supports youth shooting teams and works with our partners to promote wildlife and conservation efforts throughout NW Kansas. Participating youth hunters are awarded lifetime Pheasants Forever memberships and Kansas lifetime hunting licenses.
The Ringneck Classic has been featured on national television productions including The Flush, Tom’s Wildlife, Bass Pro’s The Next Generation, Cabela’s Sporting Dog Adventures, Wing Shooting USA, Garmin’s Americana Outdoors and Nick’s Wild Ride.
