Blending Appalachian old‑time, Celtic balladry, and original songwriting, The JAES bring a vibrant, contemporary edge to traditional music. With rich harmonies, instrumental virtuosity, and a sound shaped by decades of collective mastery, the quartet moves effortlessly from high‑octane fiddle tunes to soul‑stirring ballads. Featuring Janie Rothfield, Allan Carr, and Indy Folk Series favorites Ellen Coplin and Sean Hoffman, this is a show built for pure musical delight.
INDY FOLK SERIES is an all-ages listening room venue featuring superb acoustics, art on the walls, and a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Light snacks and drinks are available. Concerts are held once a month, September - May, in the performance space at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis.
