The Iron Roses exploded on the punk scene in late 2022, blending their politically-driven message of joy and rage with a melodic punch to the gut. Hailing from the East Coast of the U.S. and Queer-Femme co-fronted, their unique duet-style of vocals are delivered on the tip of a knife boasting influences ranging from punk to hardcore to ska and yes, even theatre. Their dynamics are honest and from the heart, calling out injustice and privilege, while encouraging joy, autonomy and community as a necessary backbone of the resistance.“Ever since November 2024 we've heard the same tired bullshit everywhere — "At least we'll get some good music out of this." Fuck that. We'd much rather a world filled with equality, food, housing, health care, education, peace, and love. We'd rather not need the music at all.
