This month, the Inner Shelf Book Club will be celebrating Spooky Season by focusing on the theme of identity and reading Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle! In this horror novel, we will follow Misha, a jaded Hollywood scriptwriter who finally lands an Oscar nomination for his work. However, his studio bosses give him an ultimatum: K*ll off his streaming show's gay characters "for the algorithm". When Misha refuses, he unleashes a nightmare... Copies will be available at the Downtown Columbus branch, and we can have them delivered to other branches upon request.
