A 6-Week Improv Series + Live Performance
with Kimmi Ewing & Raina Satori
Step out of the ordinary and into a universe of play, spontaneity, creativity, and connection.
The Improverse is a committed six-week performance workshop where we’ll explore movement, voice, comedy, character, storytelling, physicality, and spontaneous play through a delicious mix of improv games and exercises.
This isn’t just about being funny or getting good at improv. It’s about learning to listen, trust your impulses, take risks, respond to what’s actually happening, and become more comfortable in the unknown.
We’ll spend six weeks playing, experimenting, building skills, and developing an ensemble together.
And then we make a show out of it!
No improv or performance experience is necessary. Just bring your curiosity, your willingness to play, and your desire to step outside the ordinary.

Tuition for the full 6-week series + performance is $245.
A $100 deposit holds your spot.

🌠 MEET YOUR GUIDES
KIMMI EWING
Kimmi is a Nevada County educator, performer, actor, and improviser with more than 25 years of experience. She is the creator and instructor of Instant Improv, founder, director, and performer of Laughter Shock, and has performed with MenoPosse and Sketchy Ladies. In 2023, Kimmi received the Dr. Leland & Sally Lewis Performing Arts Award for her contributions to the local performing arts community.
RAINA SATORI
Raina is a performance artist, comedian, improviser, teacher, and producer with more than 25 years of experience creating and performing original work. She holds a degree in Expressive Arts Therapy, studied with legendary dance artist Anna Halprin for four years, and taught contact improvisation for nearly 15 years. She is the creator of Improverse and Storycraft Sessions, captain of the Shamanic Cheerleaders, and has created, produced, and toured numerous original shows including More Enlightened Than You, Ridiculum Curriculum, Love and Laughter Ever After, and So This Is Menopause.
