About this Event
The Ignite Peace Christian Women's Conference is for women of all ages (13-113+) to take time for themselves and spend time with their friends, and possibly make new friends as well, while being refreshed in their spirits. The conference's mission is to ignite the peace that is in each of our lives from God's presence with us, and present within us.
In Philippians 4:7 it says, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We want women to know that there is peace for the lives of those who know who they are because of God and who He is and what He has done. We have the assurance of His power and strength in our lives to face all that comes our way. We are able to do things that the world cannot understand because our God is with us, inside of us, empowering us to do the impossible, the miraculous, the earth shaking, heaven celebrating, God-glorifying things that He has for us to do all with a peace that only He can give. We rest in Him and allow Him to work in and through us to show others our relationship with Christ so that they can have one as well.
The day will be filled with great speakers, bible study, fellowship, activities, worship and laughter (a lot of laughter). There will be a lunch served and snacks for the day. We will have water, coffee and tea to drink, but encourage you to bring whatever other drink you may desire. There will be a merchandise table at the event as well for those who like to shop.
The Happy State Bank Expo Hall is air-conditioned and has plenty of parking and handicap accessible bathrooms and parking as well. Be sure to bring a light sweater or jacket, because you might get chilled.
